    Prince William and the Blues

I wonder if the Royal Family did this deliberately. The first Swans home and away game on a Friday night for a decade, (29th April 2011 vs Carlton SCG), exactly coincides with the wedding between Prince William and Kate what-ever-her-name-is

Good Heavens, my family all know not to arrange ANYTHING the same day the Swans are playing, I'll just have to give Billie and Kath a bell and tell them that day's inconvenient and they'll have to postpone it!

        I hope a Carlton win isn't Kate's 'something blue'...

Darn, I guess this means Prince Harry's gonna cancel our date to attend the Swans game together.

Maybe we could host the wedding as the Pre Match entertainment........Roosy would make a great celebrant and twins Hanners and ROK could be the flower boys........

I have it on good authority that Harry will attend the wedding with his father. Not entirely sure who Charles is going with though.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Good omens here. The Swans actually have a very very good record when Royal Weddings take place close to game day:

July 1981- Prince Charles-Lady Diana Spencer. Swans beat Collingwood, (yes the Pies) 121-103

July 1986 - Prince Andrew- Sarah Ferguson. Swans thrashed Melbourne 189-65

June 1999- Prince Edward-Sophie Rhys-Jones. Swans beat Carlton at Princess Park 88-61

April 2005- Prince Charles-Camilla Parker-Bowles. Swans beat Brisbane at the Gabba 87-81, after being behind by 33 points at ? time and never actually being in front until after the final siren.
