    Hi All,

We've had one of our wonderful benefactors donate some tickets to the Hall of Fame function for us to give to deserving members.
We've set up a nomination form - if you'd like to recommend someone (or if you'd like to nominate yourself!), please click here.

Nominations close at 5pm on Tuesday, and the winners will be notified on Wednesday.
If you have any questions, please let me know!

I hope you all have a safe and happy Easter!

    Jenny

I thought it was a nice gesture.

with respect, I think you have missed my point. if the price was set at a reasonable price in the first instance there would be no need for an installment scheme. Anyway I have nominated a friend who I know would just be tickled pink to go..
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

It's too dear for me as well, but installments seem acceptable for a heap of members, including my family, when paying for memberships.
And these grand functions just don't come cheaply..catering and hotel charges are horrific.
The club seems entitled to make a profit on top.
ATO might take a second look at a HOF evening being charged as a charity event.
I have no issue with you at all Wardy, I love your work on here, just the argument.

Agreed it would be weird so I nominated my Dads daughters only brother instead.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

                  Appropriate for Easter I thought.

You would only know this Bas because you would have been spying on him with those high powered bins of yours (and getting a few dress up tips of yourself no doubt!)

I have nominated one person - hope she wins a free ticket. Great idea.

My nominee was successful in winning tickets. He was so stoked that he's going that he insisted on dragging me along. (it'll be tough but I'll try to cope the best I can)

Thank you very much to Jenny and the club. You have made a long term member very very happy.

I nominated a friend of mine who has been a member for 23 years and i thought deserved to be considered worthy of the tickets. I didn't nominate myself if that what's your suggesting.

Oh absolutely not..i knew what you meant. I was asking if they had been phoned or emailed, just asking how they had found out . And even if you had nominated yourself, that would be fine as Jenny suggested it was ok to do that in her original email. So I did, but hadn't heard anything so asked..thats all!
