Good Lord, what a thought! Aaaghhh. So used to seeing Goodsey there you kind of forget its a finite thing! Ta Gerald, just what I needed to enhance my Christmas Cheer! Mind you I have been singing Sammy's praises, so I don't know really what I am worried about.

Sorry Deadly I may have only seen this bloke in one game but he is a natural at CHF & on the big grounds we need his sort of player there. He takes a great contested mark, leads up well ala Riewoldt & is very competitive at ground level. I thought he should have been picked for the finals. ANZ, MCG, Footy Park (Adelaide), Subi & Gabba all relatively large grounds & we have been found wanting on a few occasions on these grounds, mainly due to a lack of a stand out CHF.

I think others are being groomed for the backline roles. Alex Johnson, Lewis Jonston, Campbell Heath, Andrejs Everitt & Matt Spanger to fill roles as needed or as they develop in the case of Alex. According to the blurbs CB should be ready by game 1, LRT a bit later & Tiger's readiness will not be known for some time but we have a few to fill his role. I think our Backs are looking good & may look like this, Shaw, Mal, Marty, Smithy, Meredith?, Rohan, Teddy, Bevo & maybe Bird as a small a given specific role.

I would be really disappointed if there were any haters subscribing to this site. Even the Big Footy dills are slowly coming to realise the gigantic talent this man has.

Have I missed something? What makes you think LJ will play down back?

Not me, but I do hate it when he is not playing to the best of his ability. Then again that is more annoying than anything else I s'pose.

Just listen to the crowd when he has a bad one. He cops it worse than most IMO.
