I think you'd be right there Triple B, height seems right as well.

Should we be at all concerned we can work out who the player is just from a photo of their tackle?

Anticipation is building here in my house - watched Carlton game and remain absolutely flabergasted at Bevan not playing against Bulldogs. He got amazing goals missed one but great play whole game. Mattner has been unreal in all games and cannot believe he did not come closer in the B & F. Still we have great players and if strung together this year and very few injuries we should be right up there this year.Four weeks to NAB cup - but think AFL have not considered the crowd as far as "freebies" from AFL, Sheedy and Gold Coast as well as Swans. Too hard to park for those that are not invited into ground to park. Public transport a big issue not direct and on hot day forget it. Looks like a damn long walk with chairs in tow etc.
          Good one Mr Demetriou.

Parking was across the road so it was not too far away. Last year managed quite well with a few chairs, walked past the religious zealots cooking their baby in the heat whilst trying to tell everyone else about the evils of football. Prompted thoughts of another crucification but that would have been very naughty.

Apart from that it was quite nice once the sun set.

In my younger days a guy did a 'streak' thru our golf club. We were all smiles and wondered who it might be. The smiles turned to laughter when the girl behind the bar exclaimed "He wasn't a member!!"

I don't think that's ludicrous at all, Melbourne are one team you could reasonably expect to improve greatly, given the youth, I don't know what their recruiting was like???? For the Swans, I think injuries hampered ourr 2010 hugely, we do have extra pace now in the side, but we will need Jesse to stand up as a forward, even if only as a foil for Braddy. Bring it on I day

The problem with parking across the road was after the game no lights and walking through long grass knee high.. Do not fancy that right now and out there are snakes.

I went out there twice last year for the pre-season games and didn't have any trouble parking with the ground (ie not over the road). There was plenty of space - just shelling out $10 was the problem (for some reason, I hate paying to park)

Liz I guess some people are lucky. I was among a whole group of people and we all felt lucky we were able to walk through the long grass and not fall over something or slide in the wet grass. Maybe this year it will be mowed???

I can't wait for the season to start. Unfortunately my attendance at home games will have to be delayed until at least Round 4 as work will prevent me from going to either Blacktown for the NAB Cup or Round 2 at ANZ.
                          Red & White forever.
