    Bolton relinquishes co-captaincy

After three years in the role as co-captain of the Sydney Swans, Craig Bolton has decided to relinquish his leadership duties.
Kind of thought this might happen...
Gets us closer to a one captain set up, considering we only have one captain left.

Whilst I would love to see him back, and I sincerely hope I am wrong, I think he will be our next retirement ... without playing this year. The body is too old to heal the injury he has.

A rock down back. Always takes on the tallest and Reg had big shoes to fill when Craig received his injury.

Maybe he can get another solid year.
Does this leave it open now for a single Captain.
Leadership on the field comes from many players but the Captain is .... well the Captain !!

      Have a great year Craig.

Class act on every level. Not surprised he stood back this year, and I sure hope he comes good even if to just stick it up the footy gods for making 2010 so blah. He's a good man.

                What a tops bloke.
To think that Brisvegas didn't want B2 ... suck eggs, Brisvegas!!

The Swans had three co-captains in 2010 - Bolton, Brett Kirk, who retired at the end of the season, and Adam Goodes.

Longmire said he would make a decision on the 2011 captaincy next month.

?We still haven?t decided whether to continue with the co-captaincy model or have a sole captain in 2011. I?ll be having further discussions and we will make an announcement in February,?? Longmire said.
I should start a one captain bandwagon campaign.
Guess who I choo, choo, choose.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Great player, though how he got to be co-captain is still a bit of a mystery.

                          Right move for him considering.
