Farewell from randwforever (And welcome Jenny)

    Good morning RWO,

A few of you may be aware that as of Friday 11 March I will no longer be working at the Swans.

I just wanted to take this oppurtunity to thank all of you for making my time here so enjoyable. I have loved getting to know you all.

My red and white blood runs deep, so you will certainly still see me around at the games. My seats are in Bay 30, feel free to come say hi.

If there is anything I can do to help anyone out with their memberships before I leave, please let me know. Otherise, from next Friday the best way to contact the club is via [email protected]

    Cheer cheer,

    Larissa

Good Morning Larissa. You will be missed, I am sure. Your (quick) responses to queries posted on these boards, your invaluable help to RWO members will not be forgotten in a hurry. We'll miss your input from a membership department perspective, but please know that you are welcome to stay at RWO as someone whose Red and White blood runs deep - I think you'll find a few like-minded people here. Whereever you go, they'll be lucky to have you. Good luck!

Oh Larissa, we will miss you as a member of the Swans staff who actually cares about the club members. Thanks for all your assistance and good advice! Best wishes for your next career move. Cheer, cheer.

Larissa, it's been great seeing you in here - and at games and functions - and your prompt and friendly replies have been very much appreciated by all. As Frog says, please stay as a regular contributor.

And please can you see if someone in membership is willing to take over your role at RWO? Direct contact and feedback (both ways) between the club and a large group of its keenest members has to be good.

What Scott said. You've been beyond generous & helpful to lots of folks here. I hope it's an amicable departure, and you're moving on to greener pastures, and nothing unfortunate has occurred (sorry, my gloomy Slavic genes kick in sometimes).

And definitely stick around RWO! Now that you're going to be a civilian, we can get some good behind-the-scenes gossip, I'm sure.

                so sad

It will be a very sad day the day you leave the swans.
So sorry to hear it that you are leaving.
You have resurrected the membership department in a big way.

I am very sad as you have brought a breath of fresh air to us all.

Best wishes in your new endeavor and we will miss you heaps.
                Love those Swans

All the best for your future work Larissa. It's been a pleasure having you aboard and you've done a great job for the club and for us the members - thank you heaps.

Thank you so much for providing a positive link between club and supporters. Questions and stresses were resolved with a smile!

All the best with your future directions.

                      OMG.
                      No.
                      I won't allow it.

                      Larissa.
                      What can I say?
I'll start with you're the best girlie.
You are one of the nicest people I've ever met.
I'll end with you don't know how much you'll be sorely missed.

(PS. We'll see you at the Alexandria for the away matches. You know you don't have to "behave" anymore!!)

All the best, Larissa. I definitely also think you should get the club to seriously consider having someone "replace" you on the forum as a means of getting in contact with members. I know it is much appreciated here.

Don't be a stranger though - stick around, and tell us what you REALLY think

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Best of luck for your next move Larissa, but can only echo the sentiments above, of stick around and feel free to tell us what you really think now you're 'just' a regular supporter! Thanks for all the support to everyone on the forum you've provided, it definitely hasn't gone unnoticed or unappreciated.

                            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

Good luck with the new job.

I hear GWS has a much better organised marketing and membership department. They care about their supporters and you get your own parking spot at Mt Druitt shopping centre.
