Not many people would have had Bevan in the starting 22. My guess on the bench is Bolton, Rohan, Seaby and Sumner.

With those talls you'd imagine Seaby may be the reserve. But who are the two to miss out? Sumner and Rohan deserve a start, TDL was a walk-up start last year, but if it was Roos then you know Jude and Moore would be certs. Meredith? None deserve not to be there but some won't be. Hard task.

On the other side, Teddy played very well at the end of last year. With B2 gone this is his chance to truly cement his position in the 22.

Hard to see which three will be dropped from the bench.

With both Reid and White playing, I reckon they may go with White as the second ruckman and leave Seaby out.

Reckon we will need plenty of run and carry off the bench, so it's J Bolton, Sumner and Rohan with TDL as the sub.

You can back us to win on all 4 brackets with an even stake on Sportsbet and make a profit.

                  1-19 = $4.60
                  20-39 = 6.50
                  40-59 = 12.00
                  Over 60 = 19.00

Why have we been losing at the MCG?

If anyone has a theory that might help with the selection dilemma.

With White, Reid and Goodes up forward it gives us a distinct height advantage in our forward line. Good looking team for mine. Just hope Byron plays for my Supercoach team.

I wonder if they'll take the risk of making Seaby the sub then bringing him on if a Mummy/White ruck combo isn't working out (I'm assuming you can just sub a player out because you choose to).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

On the video, Longmire says Sumner is 'a small chance but unlikely'

LRT to play in the ressies this week, Tadhg not this week.

It's highly unlikely they would go with a ruckman as the sub. The sub should have to ability to cover any injuries and if we have White, Mummy, Reid and Seaby all on the field at the same time we may suffer in our midfield rotations.

Great side IMO aside from Bevan. Swap him from Rohan and the selectors are spot on.

I'd take Jude, Seaby and TDL on the bench, with Sumer or Meredith as the sub.
