I've just been watching the AFL's videos on the rule interpretations for 2011 and the "General Play" video had me a little confused:
Coaching Video - Official Website of the Australian Football League
In the video it talks about protecting the player going for the ball and shows examples of play. One example showed Hannebery rolling another player in a tackle but not pushing the player in the back. I thought this type of tackle was good, however it was included with other examples of clearly bad tackles.
Is Hannebery's tackle good or bad?
