Malthouse please sign up as Sydney coach next year, our team set up in the last qtr was a shambles. Defends 4pts with all our players inside our own 50 with 8-9 mts left. How many players kicked the ball without loooking to a mlb player in the last qtr, we did this as school kids in the back yard. Why was DTL not playing?

Good Game. Australian football is a lot of fun to watch.
No replay, that was a Grand Final related pun. It just stands as a draw with both teams awarded half the number of points.

Lucky in the end...they are not a bad side...and we did not get "the rub of the green" e.g. the "advantage" decision???
McGlynn gets the ball & it's a free kick when someone immediately grabs him? Centre bounces were awful to us.
However it was all about errors at key points. Bevan featuring more than once...how does he get a game?
Jetta drops a sitter...goal...some one had a shot at Kennedy on here...I thought he was OK...Hanners took a nice mark...but looked like rising star hang over got him.
        What chance against Essendon?

              Great game

              Reid - very solid 2nd game..........Im excited !

It is more obvious then ever on a "big field" and against fast running team like Melbourne we will struggle to play ROK and Jude as they dont have the leg speed.........we tried to hide them at either end of the ground but Melb exposed those two by matchups............Melb won the centre fullstop..................Yep Jude got 3 very important goals and that helped in itself but I think brining thru Byron, Rohan, Jetta etc has been vital despite that they are not nearly as good as ROK and Jude...............Considering how the Dee's dominated the midfield I felt our backs did very well.

Hard to tell with Sumner. He stuffed most things up and looked nervous. Still reckon he has something though.

DTL is a better small forward Captain

DTL or TDL rolled his ankle apparently at training.

Reid is still 18 or 19 and its his second game. He is a unit, but its mostly bone with more muscle than last year but.....he is a keeper though.
I would have preferred to sub Garry. Bit like a chook today.

                          Welcome to the madmob BOC.

Note to the new coach and coaching panel. Having a ruckman as the sub is a really bad call. The sub needs to be a runner / utility.

Still I'll take the two points. Some positives:

                            1. We should have won it
                            2. We go 2 points - I reckon in years past we would have lost
                            3. Bevo can go back to Canberra
                            4. There is plenty of improvement left
                            5. Our new game plan is more open and fun to watch (will it win finals?)
                            6. Reckon we will win out of the Vez / Everitt swap.
                            7. Thought Reid looked excellent today. So much potential.

                            Next week

                            1. Play Bird, see ya Bevo
                            2. Bring in another runner as the sub sorry to say for Seaby and Pyke, but Mumford and White is our ruck combo

Looks to me like the umpires are letting the contested packs go for much longer.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Thanks for the welcome. I watched the whole game and really enjoyed it even though I don't know anything about the rules.
These men are tough, no pads, helmets and full-on hitting. It's great!
