By the end of his career he will be.

There's at least one more charlie in it for him, and (fingers crossed) he'll comfortably break MickyO's record of most games played.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Maybe not the greatest swan, but surely one of the most talented.

No way. Skilts won his 3 Brownlows in a team that rarely won a game. Goodsy may rank No 2 but Skilts was a level above any other Swan iv'e seen in the last 50 years.

Think that would be easier to get votes.

I think Goodes has more chance of making an all time greatest players team than Skilton.

Top 5 maybe but Skilton, Kel and Plugger would all be in front. Still if he wins a third Brownlow and/or leads us to another premiership then that assessment would change.

I think the idea with being the best player on an awful team where it comes to the Brownlow is that whilst you might only get one or two games with 3 votes you could probably rack up a fair chunk of 1 or 2 vote games pretty consistently.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
