What has happened since Rnd 22, 1996

Its raining, and we are not playing this weekend, so it is mandatory that I dig out an old DVD to while away the day. This time it is R22, 1996, the Chant game against West Coast in the wind and rain, and the game that finely tuned my passion for footy and the Swans.

I noted the rather extraordinary futures of the players on the ground that day. See if you can add to it for me.

Senior Coaches: Guy McKenna and Paul Roos.
    Assistant: Stuart Maxfield, Danny McPherson.
Outside coaching: Michael O'Loughlin, Craig O'Brien,
Above and Beyond: David Wirrpunda, Derek Kickett,
Gone Wrong: D Cresswell, Adam Heuskes, Ben Cousins, Chris Mainwaring
    AFL Admin: Simon Garlic
    Big Business: Kevin Dyson
Media: Dale Lewis, Brad Seymour (Me bad, Troy Luff!!!!!)
Continued playing in minor leagues: Troy Luff, Wade Chapman, Simon Arnott

More Me Bad: On the Farm: Lockett, Kelly and Dunks!!!

Since I have only a slip of an idea about West Coast players, you may like to add to this. But you have to admit, on the whole its a fairly formidable group of blokes.

Minor adjustment. Locket didn't play in that game. Archilles problem; which is an odd spot to keep your groin.

I thought I saw Shannong Grant in an Essendon shirt by their bench at the Rd 2 game, and Andy Lovell is involved in coaching (previously Sandringham at VFL level/assistant coach for St Kilda but has moved this year)

            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Gone dead wrong. A career in media at his disposal and one party too many.

Others in that team but don't know if played on that night:

                  Worsfold (Coach)
Jason Ball - Premiership with Swans, Stock exchange
                  Jackovich - media
                  Sumich - coaching
Waterman, Matera bros, Chris Lewis, Gehrig, Banfield, Brett Heady, Heatley, Morrison, McIntosh, Dean Kemp, Lovell, Mitchell White.

I was watching Doris Day movies. They don't make wholesome movies like that anymore!

With Ch 7 set to win the TV rights with Foxtel, vintage replays may what most will be watching. However, there are Doris Day movies or subscribe to Foxtel or mate with Foxtel (as compared to mating with someone who has Foxtel)

In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

O'Brien DID coach at St George SFL.

Now, I was only talking about the players for THAT game, to make it difficult. Jason Ball and Jacovich DNP that game and I wasn't aware of Woosha, so assuming DNP too.

OK, add Sumich to the coaching list, I rather thought that myself but it was a guess.

Also would like to add that Simon Arnott is now at Wesley College, Melbourne, where he is currently employed as the College Sports Operations Manager.
