I saw out the corner of my eye the ROK SPUD incident.

ROK wasn't expecting contact (I only saw his drop/double over, not the contact sadly), and it must have stung as when he recovered he was up and after SPUD pretty quick to give him some bumps and a spray.

Tadgh played well but Shaw was sensational. His nullifying Boomer was enough to get him in the best players but he also imposed himself on the game and constantly gave us drive.

I did - mainly cos I got him into my DreamTeam a few weeks ago and he scored quite well this week. He must have sensed that I was second guessing that trade and reconsidering his place in my team so he picked his game up accordingly.

Got 3 votes in my TLM votes. Held the defence together and had a quiet 27 possessions.

An interview with Mummy by Peter Donegan. Mummy is quite diplomatic at times!

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

As McVeight stopped chasing, the North player had the time to compose himself and dispose of the ball under less pressure.

The second was Goodes marking. Why, for the life of me, he tries to tap the ball to himself after taking a mark. He did it a few times. On one occasion, he had taken the mark, then tapped it up to himself, fumbled it, then got the play on call.
I totally agree about McVeigh. I was sitting front row near the swans bench and I noticed the same thing you did. I thought maybe I was being harsh but it happened more than once.

When Goodes came off and was walking passed I told him to put his gloves on so he could mark the ball!
