contract terminating behavior clause (Brisbane didn't have).
Strong leadership culture to influence/stamp out.

fulfills a MASSIVE gap currently position wise.
Give the Sydney market the "LOOK AT US" player we are told they need.

I cant believe some people already have this guy on the scrap heap and being traded to GWS. Hes a 23 year old 197cm 107kg key position prospect who has played less than 50 games. Give the guy some time.

I'm his biggest fan IMHO , but he HAS to start producing some key forward performances. Lead up marks and goals, split packs. At the moment he is playing similar to a crumbing forward. Now I believe most of his issues stem from team roles and rucking. But they need to give him solid string of games in the forward line, and he needs to take some bloody marks, improve his position and efforts when the ball isn't within a few metres and make it happen. His decision making, agility and skills are great (besides marking most of the time). Cmon son!

White has kicked 48.28 in the past couple of seasons, and some of those goals were brilliant. I think we should persist with him unless a Lockett/Hall type opportunity presents itself.

I want to believe this to be the case as I am sure many fans do.His age is also a factor in his favour. But ask me who i think has the most potential to be a permanent go to man in the forwards and I would put Reid in front of White and Pyke has more potential. Pyke is nothing short of amazing and I hope everybody realises what a mountain this guy has climbed. Johnston also deserves his turn. Jesse has had chances and on occassions he has played ok but never quite grabbed the opportunity. Its time and the next chance may well be his last at the Swans.

I compare him to Hawkins of Geelong.He was supposed to be the next Plugger but clearly wasn't . Now he just chips in from the flank or forward pocket and is in their best 22. Maybe we expected too much of Jesses,maybe he isn't KPP? Maybe next time try him somewhere else as many are suggesting.I think as an ex Jesses fan club member we would LOVE him to succeed and more importantly right at this moment we NEED him!

Well, if we've got the personnel, we'd better decide on a structure ASAP and run with it, because if we don't have the right players on the list, we'd be better off knowing that sooner rather than later.

Jack Riewoldt could always take a mark. White seriously lacks in this department. He has always had extremely hard hands, and it's very difficult to be a marking target inside 50 if you can't catch the ball.

I honestly think White could make it as a key defender, but we have proven ourselves to be overflowing in that department. Reg, LRT and Ted all have claims of being our best KPD, while Alex Johnson is still in the team despite this. Campbell Heath is another developing KPD.

I'd love nothing more than for things to click for White and for him to start playing the footy he's capable of. He's a great kick, great leap, he's bloody quick for a guy his size, and he's a good decision maker. I can see him as an athletic spoil merchant who can keep his opponent quiet, and get to contests and shut them down. I just can't see room for him at the Swans.

He just can't take contested marks. I'm not sure he will improve in that department. Fair enough he has taken some hangers at different times but they are few and far between. I just can't see him getting that much better. One of the positives though is that he at least makes a strong contest of it at times and it keeps the ball down that end. Lately we have just been turning it over and allowing the opposition an easy out instead of locking the ball in.

Could a leopard change his spots? Could Fev reform? The dangers I see in even giving this guy a go is the large number of young players we have. He is a poor role model and could adversely influence them through slackness on the track and disruption to their social life plus gambling! If my son just happened to be one of these youngsters and he got hooked on gambling I might consider suing the club! The small upside in having a ready made power forward would be destroyed by long term damage. Learn from the Lions! Leave Fev out of the loop where he deserves to be!

Show me the leopard that changed his spots? Reid's worth the investment in time and money. At the moment he's being manoeuvred off the ball a little too easily but I'm sure will bulk up over summer. His hands are not as good as some above have suggested but the positive signs are there. Giving my age away here but in the early Eighties, guys like Round, Carroll, Daniher and Morwood used to stab pass the ball at one another from a very close distance prior to formal training sessions and sometimes at the end when others were drinking chiciken noodle soup! Probably too old fashioned an exercise these days but those guys didn't drop too many.

I think he is going to wake up one morning and go out there and own that F50 in a senior game. I hope he can do that in the next year or two.
