Im more worried about Collingwood as his brother is there- plus he's a Victorian. Him and Rohan need to be signed long term.

I'd feel totally gutted and bitter if Reid left us, he's the best young prospect we've had in over a decade and would be a key to our next shot at premiership glory. I don't believe he will leave, however, so I'm not overly concerned.
It would be pretty sweet to have him and also Rohan signed very soon, though.Comment

I'm pretty sure that all of our kids are all signed ... with enough time on contracts to bypass the chance of the BB's getting a chance to get a cheap Swan.
I think one of the last things Roosey did was make sure our contracts with the kids were in order.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Reid I believe is contracted until the end of next season- not long enough for my liking- the better he gets the harder they (Collingwood) will come. Rohan I believe is out of cotract at end of season- the rest are all signed.Comment

Rohan is a tricky one. His home sickness has been documented. He's also had a few injuries which make things even harder for him. It's easy to become despondent. In saying that I think the injuries work in our favour because his worth won't be as much to other teams and Gary would feel as though he still has things to prove here. Sometimes late developing players like Gary can't cope with the rigours of Senior Professional Football and it looks to me as though his body really needs some years of maturation. His stats on average are down on last year (less games doesn't help), and unless he comes back this year it's looking like a disappointing one for him. He is still very young though.
Sam is a key player and I think the Swans have a great record at keeping key players so I would expect him to remain a Swan. Reality is, money is king these days. I think we have enough money to keep him though. He is the future and you rarely let players like him go.

I remember the night Rohan got drafted- he didn't look overly thrilled about being a swan. Oh well- we have plenty other good ones.Comment
