    Out: Bevo, Everitt, LJ, Kizza
    In: Teddy, AJ, Nipper, Parker

I think. Just listened to Henry's reserves wrap up and got a bit excited about the kids. Moore Moore Moore has to be a chance to come in as well, though, probably instead of Parker.

I dont see why when both are fit, they cant be an excellent duo.
Both are good to very good ruckman, both can go forward, and Seaby in particular has good hands and could drop back in a hole in defence when resting from the ruck. ( a tactic which would have been handy against the pies )
Lets hope your right,i did read somewhere recently where the opinion was given that Seaby prefers to almost ruck solo and to be the no1 guy and i guess ive run with that a bit.

Watching Mummy this year i would think game management would be a factor later this year anyway, and Pyke's effort albeit in one game still makes me think he's in our best 22 as his work up forward still is the best by any of the 3 rucks this year i think.

What a joke! Who do you know who cn kick 8 goals in a 1/2 of football? Maybe he should have kicked another 8 using his Superman cape to mark the high ones.

Guys TDL is only human! 8 goals in any level of football is sensational and to have them by 1/2 time amazing..He deserved to be buggered at 1/2 time as he had done twice as much as most players. Get him in the Seniors and keep him there!!!He will learn everything else he needs once he is there.

I disagree when it's in a game with a 188 point victory, in what was acknowledged by the coach as an all round team effort, and with Jared Moore providing 4 tackles and some assists in the first quarter (though I admit I don't recall if TDL was the beneficiary of those). Possibly kicking 8 in the first half could be more demanding than in the second, assuming the other team gave up somewhat after half time. Don't get me wrong, it was a great effort, but not necessarily enough to get in the seniors. I'd love to see him get there, but as someone else observed in the thread about Henry Playfair, the players are obviously given jobs to do and expected to follow instructions. After half time, if not before, they should all have had the good sense to treat the game as a trial for seniors and a time to focus on impressing the coaches.

He will learn everything he needs once he's in the seniors? If his problem is keeping pressure on late in the game, and he can't do it in the ressies, how do you see that happening in the senior side?

That's great news on Gaz. Shame Ressies aren't in Sydney. Would be nice to see him jumping out of his skin. Poor Jed will be lonely in the stands. I hope he gets the green light soon.

I'd perhaps ask Dennis Armfield that one???

henry didn't say that at all, he played him further up the ground in the second half, thats what he said!!! In the ressies report it said his forward pressure was good & if I remember rightly it always has. I don't know who started this bull that his forward pressure isn't good? The Ressies Watchers don't say that!

?(Trent?s) a crafty, smart forward, and that?s the way he played on the weekend. We?ve still been into him about his pressure, which did drop off a little bit I thought after half-time, but he certainly got on the end of a few kicks.
Henry's view on TDL after the game on the weekend.

To me his pressure skills at the start of the season were poor but have steadily improved at the urging of the coaching staff. He's such a smart player that when he's able to physically keep the ball in the forward area then he'll be a permanent AFL player. Having said that, if he's over that bug he had a few weeks ago then I'd play him against the Crows.

TDL is the most talented forward we have, he also has a good record at a decent level of footy, the WAFL, kicking 60 goals in a season. Those who say our mids can kick the goals for us are deluded, that isn't the way it works & it never will be. certainly they contribute & sometimes contribute the maximum goals for the side but not normally, not in any team. How many goals did the Pies gun forwards (Cloke & Dawe) kick to get them over the line 10? Our mids controlled the game, especially in the second half, but our delivery let us down in the first and their defense set up their attacks. I thought our mids were fantastic on the weekend but I still look at the Pies & know they won & wone because of 2 Big Foeward Targets who presented & scored (a lot of points as well as goals, Cloke 6.4). You need specialist forwards & winning a premiership can come down to how your specialist forwards perform. TDL, eventually Lamb, Reid, LJ, Harren, Nipper, spanger, crikey we are looking good so don't knock em. The more that can kick a goal even better, AJ sometimes gets involved too
