Its getting very hard to keep plugging away as a supporter , its not getting beat its the way we get beat. The coach and his assistances need to have a hard look at themselves. Obviously MS needs to be given a go as well reading the 2nds reports. I dont know what alse to say I cant even read the first 14 pages I am so disappointed.
Spot on, LJ is one of the best kicks at the club and TDL can be a top small forward, Spanger should get a game ahead of White. AND WE NEED A FORWARD LINE TO KICK GOALS>

Kennelly seems to have lost his confidence (along with some pace).

Truly awful effort tonight. Not that we've been great all year, I guess us being in the 8 just shows how bad some of the other teams are.

I'm devastated by the way we played tonight, just a horrible performance. We are, right at this point, a mid-table team, and mid-table teams do lose these games unfortunately. I'm at a loss with how to solve our forward line woes, we simply have to find a way to create more goalscoring opportunities.

Our "charisma" has gone. We miss Roos and Kirk.

Jude Bolton has taken over as the guts of the whole team and is one of a only a few players who can hold his head up and collect his pay with a clear conscience.

As for the goal-scoring opportunities - it just seems a lost cause at the moment.

Kicking straight might actually help. 14.6 would actually win the game. 2.9 after half time.

I'm frustrated and angry after that performance. Too much cute stuff in that weather when we should have been belting it forward. As soon as I heard it was wet I was worried because we seem to struggle in that weather and it's good for a team that's down on morale and results to get a wet one cos the conditions can level things out. Despite all the shortcomings from our performance though, the most frustrating thing of all is that we would have won were it not for errant kicking. A lot of the behinds were rushed or snaps but the misses from Bevan, O'Keefe and Everitt were awful. Couple that with Bevan's mistake on Van Berlo at the other end and it wasn't a good quarter from him. The umpiring favoured them to an extent but it's not why we lost IMO.
Today's a draft of your epitaph

But I reckon this is the way we have played all season. But. We needed to win this game. This was critical to us. Were now right in the middle of the pack. We do get Brisbane at home. But next week we just have to win and win well. Because the two games at the scg after that are going to be seriously hard

Watching the Suns first half against Freo in an away game should make the Swans very nervous about playing them on their home turf. Many of their players have better skills than us!

We get the ball forward but don,t have the players there to finish the hard work. TDL and LJ are players that can kick well. Just bring them into the team and play them so they can develop like reed.

I recall that for many years, everyone questioned Roos' ability on game day as well.

Lots of young players and they were going to hit the wall sooner or later during the season.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

But it was actually our younger players in many cases who did their jobs. Sam marked reasonably well, Aj did a good job, hanners was pretty solid. It was the failure of the goodes, okeefe etc to do more than break even that was the disappointment on the night

White how horrible was he. What a pretender. Someone rang up SEN during the week and said he is built like Tarzan and plays like Jane. That is very unfair on Jane.
At least Jane would get a kick in a stampede.
What about Jetta. He kicks the early goal and yes got off a handpass in the last that resulted in a goal. But for the rest of the game was a no contest. Passenger of the first order. Right off him.
ROK might have the stats but that's about all. Missed that set shot then a few minutes later drops a sitter on the wing for a turnover and goal.
Dead set looked like Mattner was playing for the Crows. Every time we play in the wet he does those dumb handpasses to no one when he should be kicking when he is clear and about to run inside 50.
I reckon Adelaide players called for the ball from our blokes on a number of occasions.
How bad were our one out contests going forward.eg Bevan, Jetta and McGlynn.
So Kennelly has turned 30. That figures why he has talked himself up for another year. He was woeful and clubs now just sit on him and he makes error after error. Not that you can question his endevour.
Bird was terrific until injured, Bolton bloody fantastic, Hanners was good but please handball off instead of trying to kick a goal (lets himself down in this area continuously) Seaby again good. The backline was again good and I look forward to the day when Johnson decides to move the ball on quickly.
About as disappointing as it gets.

I wouldn't put this on the junior players as much as some of the seniors.. Goodes & Tadgh the main culprits..

It was a bit cold, wet and tough for our real captain tonight. As outside a midfielder as you would get tonight. Those tackles really sting on wet nights.
