i must say this is the worst umpiring performance i have ever seen.
6 goals of their 7 have been from direct free kicks.
Looks like the swannies will ahve to beat 25 players today......

if we can pick up on our kicking effiency we will blow them away as the only thing keeping the dockers in the game is the umpires.

Razor Ray must have had a large wager on the Dockers. Worst umpire ever, and yes, if you take away Freo's very soft free's inside 50, we'd be killing them

What a fantastic bit of guts from Mattner - hopefully the other guys realize what committment he showed.

Hanners playing better than he has for a while but the umpiring is pretty poor.

Great mark by Reid to end the qtr but pretty disappointing so far.

After that qtr I reckon the umpires may be gambling on footy games, because you cannot find reasons for some of thse free kicks. Its destroying footy and to pay and watch umpires give decisions like that its shocking.

Balentine got through the pack was about to kick for goal and got tackled and dropped it, no free kick.
Grundy gets tackled over the boundary line and tries to get it out before he goes over, free kick against.

Finally some urgency. We need to force the issue. Someone else said we are playing reactionary footy, spot on. There was an occasion in the midfield when the ball was bouncing in between players; 3 of our players waited for Fyffe to get it, too late she cried, he was off.

MCGlynn's kicking effeciency is exactly 0%.

White so far; Hands in the back, 50 metres, goal. Didn't contest a mark. One kick off half back. Dropped a dead set sitter of a mark in the midfield, turnover goal. Leave Reid on his own up forward and get this bloke out of there.

Jack had a good quarter, Goodes back on the ball and Malceski using the footy better made a difference. We have now kicked 2 goals in the last 2 minutes of the 2 quarters.

Untouchable as ever...about time video adjudication was brought to the game as most modern sports around the world do...

I think the umpires are paying how they see them, it is just that they are not paying similar ones to us. The number of times Freo players have jumped into the backs of our players when we take possession is quite amazing. Granted the free against Malceski when tackled on the boundary was rubbish as was the one against LRT.

We can complain about the umps, but you lose games with horrible shots at goal like McGlynn's. They got 2 quick ones after that, that turned the game. He ran straight in at the points and his kick dissected that area. 0% efficiency. He's consistent that's for sure.

But he is such a big unit. Or was it that once again he had no idea where the footy was?

If we lose this by less than a goal that Trainer should be shot. There is a real lack of intelligence about the whole operation at the moment.

First quarter, about half way through, up on the wing he did the same thing as well. Its like he doesn't want to hurt anyone.
