I cant see the logic in that.
Yeah I have no idea why he didn't play in the reserves. He was added to the 25 when Spangher came out so I don't think he was ever really a chance but yeah I'll concede that, that doesn't make much sense/

With all this whinging. some people should just follow GWS.

Gentleman, (you know who you are) did you get your invitation to the GWS soiree on Wednesday 6th Aug to meet Kev and Issy?

I might go because the Swans never send me nice invitations like that. Might even wear the Lumberjacket. Does that bring back memories?
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

As you say Plugger we have been spoiled. But I do not expect too much myself. I would prefer us to develop some sort of attacking structure and trust an attacking core to develop like we seem to be able to do with our defensive half. We are almost overloaded down there. Those guys get continual weeks and mistakes and bad form to develop a unit. The effort and trust put into those young guys is admirable. I cant see the same happening at the other end. There is an over emphasis on immediate display of defensive skills in our forward players while they are getting dodgy delivery.

Your name denotes you are a Cats supporter. You always back the coaches & selectors no matter what even if we are getting flogged & I remember when we were getting flogged even if you don't. Buckenarra was coach & we took to being the kicking boy of the comp. I only asked the promotions department to clear up the matter of Byron leaving by giving a general reason unlike giving no reason. You also decide to attack people here on a personal level. What are your credentials if you are so knowledgable? Be upfront & give some idea as to your experience. I don't know the workings of the club but I am a supporter & want the Swans to not just survive in Sydney but flourish. My idea of a flourishing club is for the coaching staff to have more idea about coaching their team than the opposition & as far as I'm concerned this year other than a few lucky wins & one big one we could be in the bottom half.

The plan seems to be just to bomb the ball in & hope!!! i have a real problem with that.

I guess you did, otherwise like the rest of us, you wouldn't have known what had happened to Byron.

Anyway, I hope they told you to go @@@@ yourself...
I asked only for general clarification that he was not leaving the club. That I think is enough for fans!!! By the way when did football clubs get so presious about giving reasons for players going home. I remember Troy Cook took a small sebatical & came back better, OK he left & joined Freemantle at the end of the season. The thing is quite a few AFL players have had problems adapting to their new environment & normally the club says this about the perticular player & we move on. But the Swans give no reason at all even general & it makes people think WHY? Not that there is any reason other than adapting to a strange situation but there could be a bit of clarification. I have a journalists nose & having had a brother who was an A grade Journo I always like clarication. I am also an acadenmic.

Give him his nose back and you might get a reward and learn to spell acadenmic !

I'm wondering why you're being a sticky beak? The answer can be found on the grassy noll!

Sorry having trouble with my spell check here! Until a minute ago my dictionary wouldn't work on my version of Firefox, I had to download a new version as I type & normally go back & have a look at all the red underlines & if I see none I presume the spell check is working but it wasn't was it. I am not a computer genius I am a writer.

Oh! By the way I'm doing a BA in Writing so that makes me an academic I think & I did have the spell check working this time. Don't undermine my intelligence nor doubt the veracity of my words. I have always said Horse was a mistake as coach & will stick by that!! I have never believed in handing someone the reigns of a good thing on a platter. The position is always better if a person has to fight for it. When Roos came to the position there was talk the club was going to appoint Terry Wallace but due to overwhelming concern from the supporters they appointed Roos. He had a fight on his hands therefore had to prove himself.
