Ins. Any whistle blower with a feel for the game.
Outs. Razor Ray.
Would the AFL dare send any of the field umpires from this week back to the SCG so soon?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
OUT: White, Kenelly, Bird???
IN: TDL/Spangher/Any forward who can read the play, Sumner, Bolton
Pretty harsh on Bird but Bolton is an automatic selection and Parker has been too good to drop
But knowing our luck with the umps this week it will probably continue to the MRP. Grundy will probably get a week for his jumper punch, Parker will get a week cause he tackled who ever it was too hard and McGlynn will be gone cause he came running into to McPhee and insighted the melee or some rubbish.
Would'nt mind Nipper getting another crack somehow either.
The disappointing thing with Bird Yesterday, was he just through the ball on his boot a bit too often, and banged it in and hoped that the Fwd's who have struggled so far, would mark it.
The ironic thing was he kicked it to the same freo player (Lower?) twice in 30 seconds.
The most important change needed this week is an improvement in team attitude.
How about playing like we did in the last quarter yesterday for the entire game? I haven't seen that sort of intense in-and-under desperation for a long time.
Good in close Bird and a pretty good stopper normally but he's very, very slow and his disposal by foot is poor. Not sure how many of those types one side can have.

The guys behind us were saying just that.
Freo weren't too skillful, but were killing us in determination.

Couldn't agree more. Why we waited until 40 points down to have a crack is beyond me.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Spot on. Play like we did in the last quarter from the get go (especially the hard running and desperation to win the footy at all costs) rathen than marauding around for 3 quarters and we are decent enough to beat most teams in the comp.
As for changes, anyone in for Jesse 'Jane' White and I'd be happy. Preferably a small/medium forward such as TDL or dare I say it Bevo.
As much as it pains me I'd like to see the Irishman go as well. He has been awful the last half a dozen weeks. Who comes in I don't know, but he shouldn't be guaranteed a spot solely on the limelight of his career, which to me now is nothing but a distant memory.
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

Like so many others, agreedagreedagreed. Maybe we need a bit more of the attitude before the Collingwood game - "look, we have nothing to lose; let's go for broke." And what happened? Nearly the impossible - we fought our way ahead of the mighty mighty Collingwood for a brief shining moment and put the fear of god/dess/es/Elvis into them (and almost better, their fans). An all-out kamikaze fury from here on might be just what the season needs.
