I hate sunday games. I think i'll record it and go for a long walk and not think about footy.

I've decided last week's game was our annual aberration, like the Melbourne MCG horror show last year. All will be forgiven if we beat the Saints - but can't see it happening.

        Should be worth watching though.

That's not very cheering, if my memory serves me correctly didn't we get smashed by the Cats the following week?

The effort against the Cats was terrific though and we had more scoring shots than them but as per usual we were spraying them everywhere. The week after we beat the Hawks in a ripper display.

            You gotta have faith Jewels.

Please disregard all previous posts of optimism by yours truly. We are well and truly stuffed (or Chamberlained if you will).

Can we have a 'chamberlain is dumpiring, we're stuffed' option?

This is a harder team, and therefore I have very very little faith. Actually I have none. I am deflated and ever so depressed. My friends haven't rung me all week. One did, brave girl, just to see if I was still alive.
I agree with you Primmy, I am not angry just very dissappointed and I don't think they will pull a rabbit out of the hat this week. Saints are playing good footy at the moment and we are scrambling to put together a team that can get the ball and kick goals. I will be going in the red and white and cheering like usual plus taking Mother who believes they will always win even when 10 goals down. Her brother who follows Richmond rang after the win and played the Richmond footy song, needless to say he is out of the will!!!!

Saints will beat us by 4-5 goals...and Schneider will continue to be part of a winning side against us. I don't think he's lost against us since he left.

Funnily enough we play well at ANZ but in saying that I don't see our form as indicating a win & I am very nervous about this game. The selection process is quite baffling I think Henry was putting Nipper forward as a potential starter & he gets overlooked. I am a bit nonplussed. Changes have been made & Tadhg needed to go to the resies to regain form & why have we been playing injured players, as in LRT, we are not exactly short of a list like some other clubs. I hope the blokes who have a call up do well but I would have liked to see Nipper & Lamb given a go but I suppose Al would be a better judge than me on this as he saw the resies last week.

We have Ray again? Well you can give St Kilda a 5 goal head start now if his last performance is anything to go by. I am not accusing him of anything he just made some decisions which were baffling and advantageous to Freemantle.

I am increasingly impressed by what I hear about Henry as a coach. To me he was a dud player whose selection over the great youngsters we had was a joke last year. However,he seems to be a great Club man and a fine coach. I got this funny feeling there may be a promotion available for him in another year if we keep going the way we are.
