Actually, for all his numerous flaws, White is the ultimate team player. He celebrates teammates' goals harder than he does his own. With that in mind, the rev would have almost certainly been a celebration of the team finally clicking into gear and storming home with the win. And I don't think anybody could fairly begrudge him that.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Harsh marker. He's an excitable player who'd finally put together a half decent game and put a goal through. If you think that was bad, you should see how he goes off when someone else scores.

Almost as bad as the North muscle flexing phase from a few years ago.

The players can't win. We have players these days who are robots and have the on field personality of a dish cloth simply because individualism is frowned upon. A bit of emotion and flair is not a bad thing in the modern game.

                  Hanners' first goal anyone?

I saw nothing wrong with the rev, it was just Jesse caught up in the excitement of the game, one thing our boy could not be accused of is being a grand stander

Lindsay Thomas, arms out demanding adulation after two months of 3 goals 44 behinds 28 OOBOTF? Good luck to him, he's had a tough time of it. Well done.

It was only a little rev, and it was directed at his team mates, not the stands; kind of like "I am back on my bike". Anything that gets him on track will do me.

We should also remember, it was Kanga who was slamming, not one who one would take seriously.

No doubt but the media and some fans do criticize players that show any sort of flair or individualism. The game is too sanitized for my liking.

We might not take him seriously, but we should be proud that about 1% of Norf's entire fanbase posts on RWO...

                                Cheeky.....

I'm pretty quick these days to give White a gobful, but I didn't think there was anything wanky about the bike rev, thought it was pretty good actually.
