I personally think pure football wise he would be a great fit, its already been proven this year that we need a strong power fwd to straighten us up (J White). While Jesse has been providing a good contest up forward a fully fit Fev is a lot better option. Goal Kicking forwards are a premium in modern footy.

Fev has been on fire in clearly the 2nd best league in the country, playing against and with numerous AFL listed players. We only need to see the players selected in the past 3 seasons from the draft to see that the VFL form holds up well (Barlow, Pods, Isasc Smith, Cam Pederson, Ed Curnow, Stewart Crameri, Mitch Robinson, Scott Thompson-North, Alex Silvangi, Robbie Nahas, Michael Hibberd). With GWS and the Suns poaching most of the quality kids out of the system over the recent 2-4 year period (2009 to 2013) this will have to make us continue to look outside the square to recruit quality players.

the coaching would have to ask itself where the list is at and what does it need.
Defence we are strong and with some depth as well.
Midfield coming along nicely have quality and some depth as well.
Outside run-definitely there with Rohan and Jetta once Jets pulls his ifnger out to find the ball.
        Forward: Weak but developing
So the ? you ask is if you ahve the midfield and defence to win you a flag or propel you to the top what do we need from our Forwards: yes they are there, but is developing it.
Reid will be somehwat of a Nick Reiwoldt type forward i would imagine doesn't kick a bag but gives you good service and strength across the half forward line.
White: Just hasn't shown the constincey to be a power forward
        Spangher unknown really..
We have plenty of crumbers and goal sneaks
We do lack a power forward and i dont see any on our list to be that and i dont many coming onto the market esp now Walker re-signed with the crows and Jack Reiwoldt although a swans fan growing up i doubt would leave the tiggers.
So what can fev offer on the field, definitely goals, our stats this year is we are up there in regards to inside 50's and scoring shots. Prob is our scoring shots are behinds and has cost us how many games this year. Where would having that proven goal kicker get us, def top 4 IMO. He has no real injury concerns
Off field well you just dont know. Do our players want him and would they welcome him. Would he be humble enough to know the team is not about him.

Do i want him: i just dont know, there was reports his training ethics was questioned by the Lions.

But he has seriously turned that around recently, he has showed he is way to good for the VFL, and IMO has gone from a 1 in 100 chance at playing AFL next year to almost 1 in 10. Having said all this, there is no way we will pick him up, and this is i think only partly due to him being a proven Dickhead, also very much due to the fact he'll only have a year or two in him and would only be a stop gap solution when we are trying to build a strong young football list. Let our kids develop, if we cant recruit a young-ish forward, we should be looking inside our club for an answer.

Just on that, how much better have we looked with Jesse and the Spang man in our side !? Really take the pressure off Reidy a bit and can be dangerous themselves.

Well, I'm thinking of heading down to the Game on Sat Arvo at TEAC oval to have a look at him for myself.

Outside the square is the Academy. I hope everyone bought plenty of raffle tickets because this could become a real bonus area of recruiting for us but it needs financial support.

Neither of those players have dominated at a senior level kicking 99 goals in a season.

At his age and with a long time out of the game he's a massive risk just on footy terms alone. Add the other stuff into the mix then you'd be mad to risk it in my view.

If he doesn't get a gig next year its a shame to have a talent like his wasted, i agree that i dont think it would be wise with our rules and position on player behaviour to recruit him but i would love to see him play a final year or two at the highest level and i think a player as talented as him even with his indiscretions(Ben Cousins) could really make a good mark on a footy team. If Melbourne didnt have disgusting leadership i reckon they should have tried to pick him up as they need a good key forward.

The HUN says that Fev got reported in the VFL semi-final yesterday [Werribee V Casey]..sux to be him!

What's more interesting is that the article says that some Swans scouts were watching the game.

I hope they were there to watch T.Tuck or some other VFL hopeful and not Fev!

I giggle when I heard this yesterday.
Don't know how bad it was, but it wouldn't look good for any potential employers.
As for the swans scouts, I bet they have been at a few of the recent VFL games too, just not noticed.

Bit of a nasty coat hanger. Could mean that Fev misses the first few games for the Swans next year apparently.

I wouldnt read too much into the scouts watching, we were playing a game in melbourne last night afterall and they may of just gone down there and had a look before it, but who knows.
