Like Ugg and Lucky Knickers, that Round 20 2005 goal against the Lions still sticks in my memory. As Dwayne Russell said, that's as good as it gets. By anyone's standards, he had a magnificent career. For someone who came to the game so late, he was miraculous. Thanks Tiger.
As Stewie and Willo slowed it was so important to have Tadhg step up - and he did. The press doesn't make it as easy now but I guess Shaw has inherited the drive from defence role - but Rohan looks like he might go alright if he stays healthy.

A very important player for us and always great fun to support and watch. Not to mention an excellent leader - you're a champ Tadhg!

The last game that we won against Collingwood, involved Tadhg on a scything run kicking the winning goal with just minutes to play, IIRC.

In 2011, the circle will be complete, with us finally breaking the drought against Collingwood through a Tadhg scything run and goal to put us up with just minutes to play, in Tadhg's last ever game of AFL footy. Right?

          Nice tribute from Martin Blake:
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Brilliant, gutsy player that was a true swan in every sense of the word. We will miss you Tadhg

Have many a fond memory of Tadhg, my favourite player since he started. Sad to see him go (again), but grateful for his contributions, and excited for the next generation coming through. I'll be wearing my 05 premiership scarf tomorrow, for sure, to remember what was undoubtedly the highlight of his career.

Last word from Ted, of course

I wouldn?t be a mate if I didn?t pump up his book, Unfinished Business ? so next time you?re at a bookshop go and have a look in the bargain bin and fish it out! Last I heard it was 2 for $1.
