I doubt very much that Mattner will be subbed off (unless injured). If we're up by enough (but not ahead by enough to threated St Kilda's percentage, say 7 goals?), would they contemplate taking Goodes off? I still remember what happened to Micky O at the last round of 03.

You make a great point and one I had failed to think of so far, if we jump the lions early, it's likely the sub will be a rest and I would go with Goodes or even Mumford.
