Smooch is a gem. No matter what Steven Milne is a great player, so to say otherwise would diminish Smooch's game. It was one hell of a productive effort and I/we applaud him unreservedly.
Adam is the Captain I (ashamedly admit) didn't think he would be. Class.
Macca's powers of concentration are extraordinary; a very dignified man.
Peb, well I groaned and got a drinka when he first lined up, so embarrassment.....what a game to find your boot in.
Mums, you are a true competitor.
Sam, we are on the start of your ride, and I think we could enjoy it. Watching him play, and being fair and honest without complaint is a great thing.
Ted, my Darling Ted. Could hug you.
LRT, the ever reliable LRT. So calm and so important. May not the a Schtar!!, but reliable and a full team man yes.
Joey, bless the man, work of art.
Benny, its a pleasure to watch the self belief in action.

I could go on and one day I will. The big thing I got out of this game is the overall integrity in which it was played by our boys. No whinging (other than Tadgh and he had every right to be annoyed by that pedantic little twerp), and played with the "no dickheads" level of spirit. IMHO. We have a lot to be proud of.

Two finals games for six newbies. Its a fine fine thing.

          Love your work Primms.

This is the most excited I've been about a group of players at this club. We are going to be scary good in a couple of years.

At the airport with a happy group of swans coaches in their civvys, all with big smiles on their faces, having brekkie and perhaps taking it all in. Shared a happy moment with John the man, who didn't sleep much (who did!) and said he was glad our trip was worthwhile. So are we and I cant wait to do it all again next week. Go swans
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

So many players have a claim to BOG demonstrating a whole team effort. Teddy was magnificent all game,Smith on Milne was a match winner,Goodes ignited us,Mummy was great all day,Shaw was dynamic,ROK with 4 goals was a match winner. No passengers ,even Irish had only one brain fade arguing with Razor..umpires never change their mind.

Yep, it was the ultimate team effort. Not a single passenger and not a single player that didn't perform there role.

So embarrassing. I forgot to include...

Shaw. The man has turned himself into a general and he is becoming a nightmare that other clubs didn't see coming.

We sat on the 50 metre line on level 1 and had the pleasure of watching Alex Johnson close up. He moves to space as soon as we get the footy and is as cool as a cucumber when in possession. There was a time right in front of us when the ball didn't bounce for him; didn't panic and calmly took possession. He didn't have to panic because he had given himself plenty of space between him and his opponent. Also did that great tackle break in the square in the last quarter.

Didn't get any Rising Star plaudits but blokes like him are pure gold. Hats off the the club recruiters who spotted him and the coaches who stepped him up so early in his career.

I know it's been said many times in this thread but Smith's job on Milne was quite brilliant. Yes he has the reputation as a big game choker, but he was clearly up for a big one tonight and was in the play plenty of times - it was Smith that choked Milne last night, not himself. And given that he was badly winded at some point, it makes the effort more extraordinary.

Brilliant effort from the boys (tho I may have been thinking otehrwise after the McGlynn/Reid misses and Bird turnover). But gutsy gutsy last quarter! BRILLIANT!
