I'll be at the Tigers game tonight so one eye on the field and one on RWO. All the updates here will be appreciated.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Who can work when the anticipation and excitement is taking over. Have my scarf draped over the desk divider, ready to be flung on in a few hours for the quick trip down to the Alex to grab a possie and get even more pumped. Pity the neighbours at the Alex tonight, we'll be screaming the roof off. Go bloods
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

Have barely missed a Melbourne game for eight years (except most Geelong trips - made one). Missed last week due to bad wrist break last Friday (see a previous post for details). Still in a lot pain (although medicated). Will be watching from home, unfortunately. Really upset that I am not up to lending my support. They'll hear me at the G though if things are going well.

A bit soft, I know, but nothing will keep me away next week if we are still alive.

Beautiful day in Melbourne, it is going to be a great night for footy. Bring it on hawks the bloods are ready for you!

Some RWOers have to harden up somewhat. Going to the theatre and "another sport" when we play in a semi final is rather mystifying. I have tickets to the theatre to a show called Queen: It's a Kinda Magic (Queen the band that is; only on for 2 nights) and if we win it happens to be on Preliminary Final night. My daughter is on standby and I will gladly forego the 90 bills. (no way she will pay me). The bloke who bought the tickets is a Collingwood supporter and he has told his wife he has bailed out already. Sometimes in life we must get our priorities right.

I'm a long time member of both clubs with one of my clubs having a home final. I will also be traveling down to Canberra tomorrow to cover the reserves so ease up.
