    No chance of that. All types of birds would get stuck in the net and the greenies will be up in arms.

      I'm all for ditching the Auskick at half time and going for skeet-shooting as the entertainment. Imagine how much fun it would be to watch large sections of the crowd duck for cover when a seagull flies past them?

          I'll ignore the usual uninformed Green-bashing and instead, post this:

          Eagles to crash Hawks-Magpie clash

          Wedge-tailed eagles that is, to scare the gulls. Although by all accounts, no-one expects it to work. Go figure.

              It seems to be working. Hardly a gull to be seen!
              He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
