Now I get it.
You people are trying to be funny.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Keep trying.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Love the so called no dickheads policy.
No way in hell you wouldn't have at least a few DHs on our list haha, I know of a few of the young boys that had to be closely managed and brought to earth when they arrived but the Swans manage do our players well and they also live in a city that doesn't notice if they play up.Comment

We have all known a few dickheads in our time, and at the end of the day does it really matter? And really how boring would it be if the entire list were all the same - there'd be no flair, no personality , no fun! it is afterall just footy.Love the so called no dickheads policy.

Agree totally. Hence my enjoyment of the so called policy!
The idea that we have 40 odd perfect men/boys is pretty funny I reckon. A footy club is a footy club, you get all kinds.Comment

There are club codes of behaviour and then there are player rules. The player rules while not official like the codes of behaviour are a set of expectations layed down by the players. These are both on field and off fiels rules an d expectations as hinted in the case of BH. Most club player groups develop a set of these so all players know where they stand and what is expected from them by the player group. Our players have always set the bar high as we drafted some ravaged souls over the years. Players who had a reputation for either off field or onfield behavioural problems, I don't need to name them we all know who they are. In the main they have all worked out splendidly with little problem and that is due in the main to them knowing exactly where they stand with the player group.Comment

Good point wolf. It is the standing within the club that matters, actually the standing within the player group rather than the whole club. They work towards maintaining respect of their peers. Good policy. Seems to work; the most devastating thing a player can hear is that the group don't want them around any more on a professional level. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment
