With all our new players, makes you wonder why we can't use him in the same capacity.

I think you will find that the culture is embedded into the grain of the club. Kirky was a driving force, but he wasn't the only one. It started with Stuey Maxfield, along with Craig Bolton and Kirky, and of course Paul Roos; it is being carried forward by Jarrod McVeigh, Adam Goodes, Rhyce Shaw, Ryan O'Keefe, Jarred Moore and etc.

He is now a businessman with a highly regarded personal skill, and is entitled to sell that skill to the highest bidder.

Hopefully ,he will not be lost to our club forever.

But I do think he will probably move away from footy eventually. His skills are transportable to lots of areas of life and business.

He will become very successful and in demand.

I am pretty sure we will see Kirky back at Sydney in some capacity once the list is devoid of people he played with.

            Culture?
            On the Gold Coast?
            Indeed.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

The only culture on the gold coast is bacterial.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

As I said "QFT" = Quoted for Truth.

I then quoted the article in full regarding this, giving specific facts (company name etc).

I love the Gold Coast and would move there in a heartbeat if I could. Burleigh Heads near the beach is as good as it gets I reckon.

I guess the "bloods" culture was started by Maxfield, Roos and Co . However to say there wasn't culture before this denigrates the great work done by guys like Kelly, Barassi, and the army off field supporters that turned this club around and saved it from extinction.
