Bevan was useless most of the time and I'm not changing my opinion because he was lucky enough to be picked in a Grand Final side. Although those 5 possessions were indeed game changing possessions so maybe you have a point.

I'm with you Al, just because he played in the 05 GF doesn't mean I have to bow and scrape to him. He was nothing more than an ordinary footballer. Obviously the coaching staff agree with us or he would still be on the list.

But I am glad he is still getting a gig somewhere.

An interesting article http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/...-1226226892899 that says Bevo was wanted by Port. I guess that is enough to drive anyone to Perth. Also interesting to see where Brain ended up.
