Ha didn't mean it like that I love the ressie watchers! I've also heard massive raps on Lamb outside of this site too so I reckon you guys are on to something...

      Surprised no-one's mentioned TDL though

Walsh to become a fwd line lose cannon wrecking ball

Jetta to finally play with the flair did in the WAFL

Morton to mature into the fwd line X factor

which leaves us with a very good ressies side!

Has the potential to be an exciting season, let's wait and see ......

It was a bit of self depreciating humour on my part. Truth be known I didn't read your post fully and just responded to the question so my bad.

My letter asked for Jessica Alba and Ashley Judd but yours is good too.

              Rohan to explode
Jack to take it to another level now he's injury free.
Jetta to get his mojo back and start playing a more mature game.
Mitchell and Walsh to get valuable experience with the big boys. Ditto Lamb.
Goodsey to keep on keepin on and to annoy those moron opposition supporters who think its ok to boo him.

Built like Sean Rehn and plays like Royce Hart, now he just has to kick like Hart

Interesting points: Can a player that hasn't actually played a game improve? And I too suspect we may get a 3rd Charlie from Adam.

Otherwise while I expect improvement from most of Morton and Armstrong (on the basis that we get improvement from most of our trades). I am expecting improvement from Kieran Jack, Heath Grundy (especially if LRT plays down back) and particularly Jetta (His 2nd year was horrible).

I am hoping for a total improvement, especially in our disposal. But I think it would be very beneficial if TDL, Lamb and Mike Pyke improved and Armstrong, Mitchell and Morton came in and were immediate hits.

Here is our team from the semi v hawthorn.....

B: Rhyce Shaw, Ted Richards, Lewis Roberts-Thomson
HB: Martin Mattner, Alex Johnson, Nick Smith
C: Josh P. Kennedy, Adam Goodes, Jarrad McVeigh
HF: Ryan O'Keefe, Sam Reid, Gary Rohan
F: Jesse White, Matt Spangher, Ben McGlynn
Foll: Shane Mumford, Jude Bolton, Kieren Jack

Int: Tadhg Kennelly, Craig Bird, Daniel Hannebery, Luke Parker

Replace Kennelly with Grundy and that's probably our best 22.

I'm interested to know who would you be dropping to fit in TDL, Pyke, Armstrong, Mitchell and Morton ?

My only change would be ANYONE for White. (Probably Walsh).

For the first game I would change White and Spanger for Walsh and Pyke. Otherwise this team looks good. I guess I would toy with LRT as emergency and swap with Armstrong to give us some run and precision back there.

Yep, there may be good players miss out just so we can bring in slightly better players and thus improve overall as a team. I think this year there will be real hard luck stories with quite a few players having to play ressies just to allow us to achieve that overall improvement. It may also give us a chance to rest sore or older players for a game or two during the year, as Geelong did in 2011, without actually reducing the quality of the team that is playing.
