NAB Cup Round 1: Swans v Saints v Cats

34 man squad named. It might be easier to list who misses out than who gets in

Morton, Lockyer, Cunningham and Walsh to make their Swans debuts.

Sssshhhh. I'm trying to keep Biggs under wraps

      Armstrong injured according to Horse

Sydney coach John Longmire said another recruit, ex-Adelaide defender Tony Armstrong (knee) and utility Matt Spangher (hamstring), are both unlikely to be fit by the opening AFL round.

Is it just me or has Lockyer been getting a bit of a vibe of late? Will be good to see how he goes in the NAB Cup - could be another first-year smoky a-la AJ?

Nah not you Jono. Lockyer had one of those intraclub games which consisted of us sideline coaches saying Who is that Man! Kind of like Kirky's first hitout down at Manuka in '99. Not that I am saying.....I am just saying......

            Knows where the ball is.

Knee tendonitis. Won't play in NAB Cup. Longmire says he should be able to play this year but is not a lock.

                DTers and Supercoaches take note.

Really looking forward to this. Feels like there's a high-charge buzz about our chances this year (injuries permitting, crosses fingers and toes, wards off the evil eye).
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Interesting no Brown either. So he must be injured too otherwise I think he would have got a posie going on history. After all we have a habit of playing rookies in NAB Cup.

the sad part was that Armstrong actually had a a release of the ITB which is a worry !

same ongoing injury ? as Big Guns who retired last year

im shattered if he is out for long.............Lou Armstrong has the delivery under fire which was exactly what we needed from our HB line
