Did we name a few guys in the extended squad who haven't played either game? Seems like a lot of guys doubling up. I like what I've seen tonight although they're clearly tiring now.
The second game performance was as poor as the first was impressive. But the players looked really tired right from the start and were completely out run. Still a reasonably satisfactory night's work.

No sign of Rohan, Mumford or ROK all night. Not sure if JPK was even named in the squad, but he didn't play either.

Nah Liz, all of them were named as 'not playing' by Foxtel.
Not sure that Seaby, Pyke or White pushed themselves for a senior position - Pyke was probably the most prominent. Although to be fair, White didn't get much of a go.
If you asked me who was the most exciting/impressive player over the 2 games - it would be Parker.
Nice hit out to blow away the cobwebs. A few thoughts
Jetta looks to have finally stepped up, let's hope he has.
Pyke the second ruck/FF to me.
The Cunningham bus? wait for me, I want a ticket. Impressive game given where we got him in the draft. Looks to have a future.
Morton showed he is a clever player and might be an absolute steal
Reid continues to impress ..... hugely
Nice to see Mal running freely
Parker will be hard to keep out of R1, our style of player and still so young
Marty, Ted, AJ, Reg, Smith all looked solid again down back again
The veterans Goodes and Bolton look to have plenty of games left in them, plenty.
Overall very satisfying night and a lot of first choice players to still come in. History of this three game format shows that very few of the second games are won by the team that played the first, we looked a little weary against Geelong.
Some LOL from my Twitter feed... FWIW I agree with the lad
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out.... Des' Weblog
Bolton, Jack, Lockyer and Walsh played the Saints game only.
Mcglynn, Bird, Moore and White played the Cats only.
ROK, Kennedy, Rohan, Lamb, RLT and Mummy are the few who were named but did not play
Hannerby, Armstrong, Mitchell, Meridth,DLT, Spangler and Brown etc were not named
