Wolftones says we have a potential forward line (if we get smart) of "Lamb, TDL, Nipper, Benny, Bolts, ROK, Harry, Spang, Macca, Morton, Mitchell, Walsh, LRT, Shaw and of course Goodsie, Mummy and Reid".

IMHO that demonstrates we are not getting smart. What sort of structure is planned? What are the midfielders expecting when they look up? Any one of 17 players - leading; crashing packs; crumbing; being patient; or what?

I agree there might be a plan for the SCG and another for big grounds. But to be approaching Round 1 with no 'structure' apparent to the knowledgable observers on this site, seems to me to have wasted a lot of time since we last had the structure built around BBB (and that a reprise of Lockett!)

No he didn't Di. I don't think we have played a true CHF at the SCG since Luffy. He sometimes played up the ground on the bigger grounds but not at the SCG. He played a true FF there. He was allowed a lot of space to roam but still designated FF.

Well, the SCG is a different case, as you point out. However my recollection is that on the bigger grounds he usually played further up the ground while MickeyO tended to take the stay-at-home role.
And Wolfy, check the gender - under the name. Might save confusion when we meet1

This is my recollection to. A lot of Halls work was 30-50m out from goals. His stamina allowed for a lot of leading runs that sometimes began in the goal square which may give the impression he played FF.

Whilst Bryce's dad Lance was 'inventing' the attacking BP role that nobody had ever ever ever ever ever done before, Barry's dad Wes was 'inventing' the leading FF. Who'd have thought?

I stated Hall played further up the ground on the bigger grounds but I still don't think he played a true CHF role.

They found Footy Park a bit wide, but were right at home on the Adelaide Oval....

Ross Gibbs played the attacking BP very differently to an Adcock or anyone else at that time. He kicked 111 goals as a BP and was one of the only BP at the time I even saw take a mark 10 metres out from goal. Cornes gave him license to roam and drift down to the FF line and it proved to be a huge weapon in the Bays winning two premierships. He changed the role of an attacking Back Pocket, took it to a whole new level. Scoff all you like Tripple B you obviously haven't heard yet, due to lack of education no doubt, that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit!
