                Sad news. A fine player and a real loss to the game. I feel for his family and his club.
                He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

                    Mike Sheehan's last line in his article summed it up perfectly - "He was an excellent footballer; he was a great human being."

                    While football made him famous, he made a far greater contribution after football and leaves a legacy for thousands of people to remember him by.

                    If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

                            Giants will be having a minutes silence at the match, and wearing black armbands. I hope our boys will also wear black armbands on Saturday.
