I need a better way to destroy my tickets if we are coming 18th. I have perhaps the worlds crappest microwave in my place - I reckon it'd take an hour just to warm up my membership card, let alone turn it into goo

Wow...my microwave blew up tonight after 30 faithful years.....maybe that's a good omen.

That's right....the only way to listen on the net is through www.afl.com.au - it hardly uses any download amount (assuming you have cable; seeing as you get torrents). So not sure why you don't listen online if you want to get some live. Alternatively go to a garage sale or Dick Smiths...there are radios for $5, $10, $20 which will work just fine if you are in the city....esp abc 774 am. You don't have to register to afl.com.au to listen to games....just need to register to watch video. From memory it's as little as $25 a year to get a bigpond account...you don't have to USE it, just pay for it. Here in NZ it costs $120 a year for video etc...quality is satisfactory for a stream. Also this year you can PAUSE the live stream and even go back. Cool.
