Rohan initially looked for the handpast...AJ had a think about it ...and the moment had passed as Rohan moved into shepherd mode...straight out cost us a goal.

I think anyone who supported the swans for at least 20 years still waits for a massive collapse even if we lead by 100

That was a horrible turnover by Johnson. Looked almost like he was lairising.

We really let go of a chance to have a big lead. Both sides look like they are in slow motion. While Port are getting a lot of players back to the square I wonder sometimes where our players are at the fall of the ball. Not positive enough going forward and not enough forwards moving or leading to space.

Boy have we got the fumbles. Hanners, McGlynn, Kennedy, Malceski and Parker have been good.

I think we're obviously the better side, from half time it's a matter of who can maintain focus and not fade out I guess. I'll takr the lead at half time. What's with Jacks tackle? Didn't exactly dump him on his head, some home friendly umpiring going on, but we seem to be equal to it. Will have to watch the Port spread after half time, and probably either kick long into the forwards, or slow the game right down

If we (you all) keep telling us that AJ is the real thing you must be joking. Turnovers must be his nick name. If he doesnt get it out of his game he should be dropped to the 2's until he does, its disgraceful how many time in match he stuffs up.
Hanners and Okeefe have been poor.Mal is doing ok so far and Marty hasnt joined AJ yet. Mummy is struggling while white is showing a bit. Goodsey needs to pick up a fair bit.

                      63 to 32.

Need to mske more of our chances when inside 50. Port apprat to be flooding back.

The umpiring is definitely South Australian as they have given Port all the frees. We have had very few. What was Jonno thinking on the flank, Rohan was shepherding for him and was expecting him to kick. ROK very ordinary and Jesse fell out of the game after a promising start. Lukie, Joey, Kieren, Hannas, Mal, Maca, Teddy, Benny all good. You are right about Mummy he does look proppy. I never thought I'd ask for LRT to go to the ruck but Jesse is just not doing anything in the ruck. Birdie has been good. I think up until about the ten minute mark of that quarter we were still playing the defensive zone but changed to a man on man DZ. Reid well held by Carlisle, he needs to get some space on him and run him around, Carlisle won't like that. Rohan doing a job but I would like to see him have a run on the ball.

I am going to get howled down but I think Bolts days as a mid are over and he needs to play permanent forward. He is too slow for the young gun mids now.

Come to think of it you are right it's better than being 16 behind and at thd end of the day we only need to win by 1 point to win 4 points! So cmon swans heads up and go forward.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I really don't think there was anything in Goodes sliding to his knees there, they're really trying to make something of it. You see players try to slide in on their knees in that type of situation pretty frequently.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
