I second this, no half fit players. Sick of seeing some of our past stars out there looking ordinary because of lack of a run. Can't play suspect players in the wet it will find them out.

      No we should underestimate them!
A young team with one good win, that will be all she wrote for the season.
We will win and then some and then get thrash in tassie!!

        Huh??

        "past stars"??

Apart from ROK, who else has looked ordinary from a lack of run??
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Hopefully TDL gets a chance this week. Maybe even Tommy Walsh?

I too would like to see the Burmese Kitten get a run.
We need a natural, smart forward/ goalkicker, to compliment Reid, White and co.

It's my belief that Armstrong would have been a chance this week even if Goodes had escaped suspension, and now that Goodes is out of the team we should be seeing Tony make his Swans debut on Sunday.

Probably no to both. Might be a wet game, so Tommy probably isn't ideal, while a dry day might encourage a midfielder type like Harry instead of TDL. I'm not too sure how much his forward pressure has improved, but certainly North will go into the game trying to run us off our feet and play on with every chance. We need to make sure our intensity and tackling pressure is up as M_B mentioned so that might work against him?

whoever it is , needs to be fit, we seemd to not be able to run out the games at the moment..the last 2 weeks both opponents have outscored us in the 2nd half by 4 or so goals, it is only that we have built up a good lead in the 1st half that has saved us. if we dont bring 4 qtrs on the weekend we will lose a game we should win.

Armstrong in for Goodes. I'd like to see that.

The confines of the SCG and the wet conditions will help us clog up the Roos. Will they clog us up as well?

Need some goals from somewhere in Goodes absence - I think TDL may be an option. Any word on Smithy? Thomas looked very dangerous indeed last week.

Pfffft, Freo beat Geelong, so what? We will choke the life out of Roos and tackle them into the ground. Our blokes are much harder at the ball, and even in the wet it will suit us, win the ball out of the middle and bang it inside 50 then keep it there. Sounds simple enough
