Get it right Ernie the game that was cancelled was the practice match against GWS when we played the Suns at Blacktown. They were going to shift the match to Lakeside Oval but couldn't get it that day. The Reserves played against GWS in the first round, I was there were you? They have since played two games against CGS and Ainslie. Plus they bplayed a game in the break the seniors had after the GWS game against GWS that makes four by my count and he played the lot Ernie!
The practice match cancelled was to be against Ainslie, not GWS. That's an easy mistake to make, no biggie.
However...
Armstrong did NOT play Rd 1 v UWS/GWS at ANZ. Don't worry about Ernie, are you sure YOU were there?Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

I hate paying the Roos. Not because I don't think we're likely to beat them, but just because we have to deal with all their dickhead supporters (I'm not specifically taking about this forum mind you). Can't stand them.
I hope we win and expose what that win the Geelong really was; an aberration. I'm not saying they won't be there in September, but @@@@ me its round 4 and you've had one substantial win over a team that looked like it didn't care. Learn how to keep a lid on things! Not a very humble lot at all though I suppose that's what a long standing inferiority complex does to you...Comment

I too am looking forward to seeing Armstrong come into the team at some point, but...
The real point here is, you suggest Shaw should go back to the 2's.... because he's underdone!...Thats rubbish, he completed the pre season and only missed a few weeks with back soreness.
You then suggest he should be replaced by Armstrong...A player who had no preseason and has only been back training and playing for 2 weeks....As I said earlier, confusing to say the least.
If you think Shaw should be dropped to make way for Armstrong...then just say it... without the ill-informed reasoning.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

After limited minutes in the NAB Cup and the cancellation of a practice match against Ainslie the week prior, the side could have been forgiven for being a little sluggish out of the gates.http://www.sydneyswans.com.au/tabid/...?newsid=131517Comment
