So LRT for White is the more defensive option

I guess maybe someone apart from me thought he was ordinary too. Nearly equalling the world record for frees against probably didn't help his cause. Good athlete, no brain.

White wasn't poor, even Longmire said he played well. Just unlucky to be squeezed out. He hasn't been named for the reserves either so I'm guessing he's the 23rd man.

He's been playing the role of forward/ruck better than LRT ever has.

Very tough on White after a couple of decent performances, I really don't think Lewis has shown that much in the first 2 games to be an automatic inclusion over him on form.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

While I think White is unlucky I don't understand the LRT bashing. I think he has had just as much if not more input in his 2 games than Jesse's 2 games. Perhaps because he looks uncoordinated and doesn't appear to be as athletic as White, that brings him down in some people's estimations.

While no great fan of the lad, I have noticed that the umpires do seem to blow the whistle at White an aweful lot, I think somewhat more than seems justified sometimes.

In any case, the die is cast, good luck to our 22, they'll need it!

PS LRT bashing, like White bashing and 'Dre bashing . . . . . it's all evidance of small-man (or person) syndrome.

PPS So too could the umpires bias, they're all short arses too

I hope I don't come across as bashing him, I was pretty happy with Lewis' performance in the first couple of games and was content with him to hold his place- I just think that White had possibly been slightly better in his two games on the trot so it seems odd to me for Lewis to be an automatic inclusion in the team.

Excited to see the helmet, though.

White is definitely stiff to miss out.
To be dropped after playing his best 4 quarter game is tough.
He brought others into the game last week. It wasn't a great performance, but it was encouraging.
White is a better forward option than LRT.
LRT is a defender, who's been OK as a makeshift forward.
There's no future in LRT as a forward, there might be with White.
                          I'm disappointed.

Keep in mind that he thinks Al should come before aardvark in the dictionary, so don't try too hard to understand him.

Tough on Jesse but Horse is obviously trying to have a clear "first 22" that you have to play your way into or out of. LRT hadn't played his way out of it when he got hurt so he's back in.

and LRT's game he was injured in was one of his better games.
