The selection of the sub will be interesting this week. Everitt looks quite likely but I hope they start him as we need the 3 talls in the forward line to keep defenders like Gibson accountable. Hannebery only had 63% game time last week, I wonder if that was due to a lack of a suitable matchup or fitness issues?

Take the experience and versatility into a tough game. LRT gives the option of going to a key forward if we can't get a match up in our defence. We might see some positional changes in this game if it looks like the hawks are geting on topYou can't argue with a sick mind - Joe WalshComment

LRT for White is a shocking decision LRT was very ordinary. I don't think people bag for awkwardness, I think he gets too much credit because he looks like he is trying so hardYou don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby ZieglerComment

White is very unlucky to miss. I think we have to keep playing him the same way Geelong have kept playing Hawkins and now his confidence is sky high. If we keep playing Jesse for 2-3-4 games and then drop him to the resies for another 2-3 weeks before another recall for 2-3 weeks and so it goes, I just think we're always going to see the same Jesse White we've been watching for the last 3 years. I think we need to keep plaing him for 9-10-11 games to build hid confidence and make him believe that he belongs at this level and that he can excel at this level as well.
I've got nothing against Lurch(LRT), but I'd just rather Jesse in the team.
...and on a side note, I know Jesse doesnt get a lot of the ball, well not as much as I /we would like, but when he does take a mark/or get a free in our forward 50, he's actually a VERY accurate kick at goal!!!Comment

"Hi, you know I've been watching you work with that Powerade stuff for a while now and I was wondering... would you like to try to handle something that's a littler higher in Al-ectrolites?"I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

I thought LRT was going okay until he was injured. White can consider himself unlucky but as has been suggested LRT gives us more options especially if the Dawks forward start to dominate...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. I think Jesse is a bit stiff to miss but I like LRT for this game. He gives us another option on Hale, if his height proves too much for Ted. And if we land up with too many tall defenders and not enough forwards, Ted or Reg have played forward in their careers. I suspect this means Goodes will play more forward than midfield, but the return of Smith to blanket (hopefully) Rioli frees Shaw or Eski to have a run around in the midfield.Comment

Gee, it's amazing how opinions can turn once you have been out injured. The coaching panel love LRT. He gained a two-year contact last year because LRT can ruck, play back or forward, and occasionally kick goals. That makes him a good all round contributor and balancer for the team. White has had more chances than a hooker at a buck's party. As a tall forward/second ruck he just doesn't cut it. You have to mark and kick goals - he don't. I thought he played well (for him) last week in what was a winning side. Against the Hawks, he is a liability. With LRT you get someone who is reliable and able to deliver."Play like you can’t lose."Comment
