Remember that well, would have to be right up there.

I wasn't at Davo's semi and missed the '96 PF with a broken leg so I've missed a couple of crackers. The Davo game though, I don't think I've ever felt that level of relief/jubilation.

The '03 QF is still the most enjoyable game I've been to. Honourable mentions to the 2010 EF and the game at Skilled last year.

I was at the SCG when the first 'syyyydneeeeey' chant was made. I remember feeling the vibrations in the air at the time and thinking that at last we had arrived. I later read that week that one of the Swans players (cant remember who) actually stopped and soaked it in because of the vibrations and because they had never heard it before. Heady days...

Yeah, it was loud alright but since we lost that game I tend to forget how good that moment was. Best thing about that 03 PF was this:

I remember it well, it was Luke and wow was that a great moment... only to be trampled in the 4th by the best midfield I've ever seen.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I get out the fourth quarter only when I want to introduce someone to footy.

And it was Shannon Grant who said he stopped and listened to the R22 1996 chant take off. The crappy stuff I know, and the important stuff I don't.

Prim the things you remember amaze me and most of the time are far more important than the crap we carry on with. Keep up the good work!

Poor old Shagger - for the rest of his career he had to endure home crowds no more noisier than an abandoned nunnery.

I watched the 05 GF at a pub on swan st richmond with a couple of geelong fans. To their credit they cheered and sang cheer cheer with a group of us when the siren went. They were shattered but they were thrilled for us finally breaking the hoodoo.

As for the SF watched it at home with bro in law who left at 3/4 time as he had enough and i was about to call it a night when i just sat there and watched history unfold. I didnt say much nor did i cheer..i just felt shocked and exhausted after putting up with the first 3/4.

Gee footy takes you on a wide emotional rollercoaster such is the nature of the game.

2006 is the most numb feeling i have ever had watching footy.

I've never watched one of them either...ever....I was working the night of the QF......heard the result. Erased the tape....bought the victory pack.....never opened DVD 1.....wasn't that the game of the worst umpire blunder in the history of the AFL?

Worst Umpiring? MAybe, maybe Freo last year. Biggest change in noise, 96 prelim, dead silent to deafening in one MAxfield step (ok maybe 2 steps)

Now I wouldn't have gone as far as saying I wanted to have Nick Davis' babies but I probably would have stole a couple of them if he'd asked.
one of the most amazing nights of footy ever. To this day I when I watch that last quarter (forget the first 3) I still get a tingle and shed a tear. Nick Davis will forever be the man who made it happen.

I meant the one where the man on the mark barged into a player running past.....and got a free. They won by less than a kick. Umpire was suspended for a long, long time.

                            Didn't change the result, though.

2nd worst decision I ever saw was in the Essendon match where they received 6 goals from incorrect frees (and we had a goal disallowed from an incorrect free )......Solomon ran back not looking at the ball straight in to Craig Bolton, front on. He not only made contact....but it was to the throat. Free and goal to Solomon (!!!!!!!!). Oh the memories. Paul Bevan's best ever game....Schneider ripped his hamstring but good and was never the same again. Came back from 40 down to lose by a kick. God I hate Essendon

2004. Remember it well and you are correct, it was a shocking decision. Correct about Bevo as well, just stopped everything that came forward that he could lay a finger on.
