No most sides either do not play or use a player who has either been concussed or injured the previous week. We did it last year with Craig Bird and he came on and played a blinder. It is a matter of protecting the player and the team both. I would not play him this week until he has seen the specialist again just to make sure. He did have a twinge in the North game, I was there I saw him reach for his knee and so did all the people around me. We all thought he had done it again and after all he does have a history of knee problems does he not. You might take a risk on him I know I bloody well wouldn't even if it was just a twinge!

I agree 100%, if he is not right, don't play him at all.

What I don't agree with is that there is a 'rule' which say's "use a player who has either been concussed or injured the previous week." You've made that up, but feel free to back it up with a statistic or two...

Not at all, but if you want to refute somebody elses post by quoting a 'rule' or 'stat', be prepared to be asked to produce said 'rule' or 'stat'.

Of course when we all know these so called stats are a myth, be doubly sure you'll be asked to produce them...

If he stuffs his knee in the first minutes of next weeks game then we are a man down! Be sensible here I believe the player should be honest but there is no hope of that. I played and did it while injured and lied about the twinges I had, we all did and so do our blokes! Any chance he is going to get a recurrence of his old injuries and I would have him back to the specialist. He felt for his knee against North and we thought he had gone then and last week they took him off.
Wolfie, Wolfie ,Wolfie..he sighs... Have another read of my post . Then read your reply....This isn't a debate about whether Mals knee is ok, the debate is about how they choose subs.
As far as I'm aware we aren't doctors, and we're certainly not treating Mal.
And if you continue to be nasty by calling me a "prig" ...shock horror...I might have to row away with those 2 blokes and the lesbian.

After all the silly 'sub rule' and 'boating' stuff. Bottom line, LRT is more versatile, and, he is as effective (ie not much) as White in the ruck regard. I would love Jesse to stand up and play the role he is capable of (and did to be fair last time up). Until he does that regularly, LRT, the versatile bloke who gives every contest a red hot go will get the nod in my opinion.

Approaching half time LRT has 2 posessions, 1 hit out 2 frees against 0 tackles

                              Says it all really
