    Well the game kinda sucks.

I bet it's killing the club that it's a televised Sydney team double header and we're televising a not super performance straight into lounge rooms straight after GWS' first win.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Intensity of the entire team inexplicably low. We look slow. A lot of passengers out there: White, Seaby and Everitt are not first team standard; we know this. It's difficult to watch those three lumbering after opposition players in possession. Might be able to hide one, but those three can't be in the same team. Output of O'Keefe, Malceski, and Bolton really poor too - they look slow. The back line has been bumbling, can't get hands on the ball in the middle, and the forward line is a mess - Reid and McGlynn playing with no confidence. Reliant on Jetta, Jack, and Kennedy to produce something.

Without rohan and goodes we really are once again one paced from the contest.

I think I'd be looking to move shaw forward ands put mcglynn into the run with role. He needs to get into the game. Tdl should have started.

We can still win this but we are simply going to have to get more than our share of the ball and it really would be nice to get some frees. The effort is there now, it really wasn't in the first quarter. Did people see the stats from the first quarter. I presume they would have from the tv - at the ground it said about 140 to 60 and kicks were about 80 to 20. Sometimes it would be nice for them just to kick long to the wing when in trouble.

Decent game from AJ; he seems to perform well when we're getting smashed.

Glass half full? Perhaps a few sips ready for a major top up!

Hard to tell from the tele, but it looks like he hasn't probably rucked more (and then had more rest time) because Seabs has been getting a bit of a touch up from the mullet.

Mind you I wouldn't mind if someone knocked Reiwoldts block off, I'm not fond of him

I'm not sure we should lighten up. It was extraordinarily bad. But let's wait til the end of the game beforer making final judgement.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. A PR disaster.

I reckon we straight away lose our fear factor for the opposition when Goodes is out ala Brad Scott's comments before North Melbourne game. I would think the same about Hawthorn if Buddy was out (even if he is not playing so well at the moment). Can we win from here I don't think so? Always thought we would lose this one even at start of year, just a pity we dropped last week.

We have to be positive. Swans will come back but I still think we should get rid of Longmire and Goodes is finished.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Given that we're being thrashed in almost every aspect of the game, it's amazing that we're only down by 32 points at half time and possibly should have been closer. Seaby has been poor against Maric and will need to lift his intensity as a lot of Richmond's moves are generated from their winning at clearances. Reid is still sadly out of touch, whether it's due to injury or not is irrelevant at the moment. It doesn't help that the other forwards in McGlynn, Everitt, Bird and O'Keefe (earlier) aren't doing much either.

Losing hit-outs 24-14 and Maric has 11 possessions to Seaby/White 4 in total.
