Yes I've turned if off. Just another pathetic performance, hope we can improve next week. We look slow, uninterested, we've been outplayed and outcoached.
Is there an umpiring body? Umpiring stats should be reviewed and umpires held accountable. Are they reviewed weekly? The umpires that are below par with their performances should be dropped. Why are they not held accountable for their actions like the players are?
That being said, this performance by the Swans is infuriating to watch. If the saints had been accurate........
Well if Longmire has no effect on how we play what does he actually do? Why dont we just have Goodes/McVeigh as captain coaches?
We aren't any closer to a premiership than we were 4 years ago and responsibility for that has to lie somewhere
Longmire has created a competitive list and it seems our games in Melbourne are a abomination they have been since paul roo's other then the gf when we vsed another interstate team. I have no problem with the team that turns up and plays in Sydney the team that arrives in Melbourne is completely different and the onus is on the players to rectify that not the coach who can't play anymore.
Without longmire and kinnear beatson, we wouldn't have AJ and parker. We would still be playing the out of date boring ross lyon game style(that worked in 05-06). Longmire is doing a great job imo and it is the players that are creating this @@@@storm which arrives as soon as the plane lands in melbourne.
LOL...yes I found myself doing the same...that happens only rarely where the anger or frustration turns to mirth!!!! A VERY bad sign and reminding me of 20 years ago....

I'll go through our forwards:
Reid - 1 mark
Walsh - 0
O'Keefe - 2 - although he has had a go
LRT - 3
So a total of 6 marks to 3/4 time from our key forwards - hmmm.
What this game and the Richmond loss shows us is - we have no REAL depth - easy to be a champ against amateurs.
We should play Dennis-Lane for the next 4-5 weeks and give him a go - if he doesn't make a fist of it then let him go. I can't see many other 'natural' forwards on our list.
I'm looking forward to the Giants game for no reason other than to see at least one team play some decent footy tonight. Both coach and team have failed here. Hoping for a decent quarter
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector
Nothing in our FWD 50 has changed since game 1 FWD structure doesnt work we will get away with MF kicking goals against lessor opposition but the better teams will slay us. Reid is 4 games in after he should have been dropped, how will his form improve playing at this level - he needs confidence Im sure he could gain some in the 2,s. Walsh terrible, why again LRT if you want extra around the grounds bring in an extra runner LRT gives us nothing as 2nd ruck - again.
I hope spangs isnt too far away at least we get a contest. Longmire doesnt have any answers to our fwd woes at this stage stick someone at FF in the 2,s let them gain some confidence and use them in the position for a whole game.
No doubt we will be told in the press conference that we did not turn up to play - same blurb as against Richmond - reality is like against Richmond when sides put the heat back on us we do not respond very well - our skill level has been shocking and when your second to the ball you won't get the frees and it is cop out to put any of today's loss on the umpires as poor as some decisions have been - we are not as good as we think we are and today effort confirms it.
