Macca for Sub he has been soft the last three weeks and it will teach him that as a leader he has to show a good example to the younger players.

I agree with you here Wolf....but it won't happen.

          Now Wolfy,

When you have 28 possessions (consistently), regardless of where or how you get them, it is hardly likely that a player needs a lesson by sitting him on the bench as the sub. I can't see how he is not being a good leader. He has been very consistent and always appears to be directing traffic out on the ground. Also how do any of know if he is doing or not doing the things out on the ground, or off the ground for that nmatter that the coaches want him to.

I agree he shouldn't be sub again, but I reckon Seaby in round 1 last year was the worst. Not Seabs personally, but ruckmen and subs aren't compatible.

Wouldn't be a bad move, but it was cause a lot of negative attention to the swans ala brad green last year when he wore the vest.
I jst hope that either armstrong or tdl aren't sub

Parker might be in line for a turn as sub.

The things that have disappointed me is the missed goal from straight in front a few weeks back, last week(?) he dropped an easy mark under little pressure.
The little things that I'd want a captain not to do. These are things I think a leader needs to do, and do well.

We are supposed to be a team that prides ourselves on the hard stuff, contested ball, 1% ers etc. Yet we have a captain in Mcveigh who would very rarely finish a game with a dirty guernsey. He's a good player, a consistent player, but he doesn't play the game like a captain should IMO. He picks up touches but doesn't win any hard balls. Not a knock on him, just think he is the wrong fit to Captain our club. Goodes may not be a particularly " hard" player either but he is inspirational and can turn a game single handedly. Mcveigh is neither hard nor inspirational, not on the field anyway.

Or why bring in a forward to fill a gaping hole if you are not going to use him for 3/4 of the game. I do believe that incident last year is still in the coaching staffs minds.
I bet you don't say your thanks before meals too.

Subs aren't used before 3/4 time usually because of the risk of injury. We don't have a gaping hole in the forward line, we just have players who don't play forward.

Where was Tommy last week when I was enjoying my $3.90 chips at SKODA?

Return of the Mummy might turn into a horror story for us if he's not well enough. How much is the Tin Man (LRT) doing well at the moment?

With the weekend upsets, I have a bad feeling about this game.

No insomnia, just a mid nightly wee wee call! Dang hot diggidy, another inspiration for a song.

                      How's that Pyke song going?
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Ah. Knowing that you get your inspiration when going to the toilet certainly has put a lot of context to your songs.
