Ok time to move on - bring on the Doggies

The only game each year where I have a few is the Collingwood game. I figure I'm gonna need it cos I know what the result is going to be - I leave the kids at home (they don't need to be exposed to their supporters anyway) and take the bus to the game. It always means that I end up in a verbal spat with at least one of their supporters though. They are the one group of fans who can't ignore opposition supporters having a go at their team. They have to chirp away and throw in their two cents worth to my private conversation (or ranting) with my friends. Just because I've had a few beers and may be louder or more "forthright" in my opinions than normal give them no excuse.

And while I'm on my soapbox, how the hell do Pies supporters get into the Swans' Members bar at Homebush. They're like cockroaches! If you're unlucky enough to be with one of them, don't let them into the bar. That's ours. If I want to stand in there and let fly at the opposition I should be able to. That bar should be our sanctuary.
