    Not impressed with these ins.

Watched reserves last week and in my opinion, Malceski didn't do enough to warrant selection, and ditto Everitt.

Really would have liked to see Gordon or Cunningham for a like-for-like replacement for Parker and McGlynn.

My enthusiasm for Andrejs. Let me count the ways.

Malceski might go to half-back with Armo and Shaw to the midfield to do a run-with job.

I love how when people bring up Morton being selected they get told he has to earn his spot, what the heck have Mal or Everitt done to earn a spot, better off giving a kid a reward, what a joke.Looks like the Melbourne fans will be treated with the same contempt we have been so far this year, why bother who's named we dont turn up to play in melbourne anyway.Im convinced some number cruncher has said all we have to do is win at home and were golden, absolutely peed off, good sides win anywhere they play,we seemingly are happy to be second rate away from home this year.

I hope not.... All he's done lately is turn the pill over. He doesn't tackle, he's got no confidence.
Did nothing in the 2's last week and gets straight back in ?????

Fair dinkum, same old same old. No variety whatsoever. Clearly they don't think Spangher is ready, but Everitt!

Malceski must be one of the boys. Goes back to the 2's to get form and back after one game. Must have thought he starred. Gee our backline looked a hell of a lot better without him.

Toss of the coin as to which one of these gets the green vest. Do they have 2 green vests?

This was a chance to give a couple of strong performers from the 2's a game...
IMO these selections are unimaginative, uninspiring and undeserved... Really disappointing.

Everitt, Everitt??!! What the?? I am actually quite glad that I wont be going to this game, it was a probable loss anyway but it is now definate after these ins, more so with everitt being selected! I was holding out hope of morton getting a run, what does this bloke have to do?? Very disappointing.

My thoughts exactly. If we win, there will be no further mention of these changes but if we lose there will be hell to pay. But I always love watching younger guys like Cunningham and Gordon and would love for them to get an opportunity! And I want the Spang back!

                      +1.
I fear we are going to be well and truly schooled this week, purely based on these brainless ins.

what a joke, in particular AE a person who is not hard at it and doent rate with reserves watches. Mal was sent back to get some form again the reserves watches didnt rate his game. What does JM need to do to get a game, he has been in the top 6 each game. HC or NG would be better than the 2 selected and what about giving MS a go. II am afraid of what is coming. Hope I need to eat my words, we need this one.

With the hard run home it would be smart to give them a go now and let them prove themselves rather than going into the back end of the season, only to get an unfortunate injury or out and have to play people then with no experience. I have no idea what reason the selectors had for picking these two. And it must be really disheartening for the boys in the twos who actually work their butts off and have form and play well and to never be rewarded for their effort and to see others get picked who don't show the same work rate or results.

The only positive I have is that Cunningham and Gordon are emergencies ... They at least look to be getting closer to senior selection!

Dead set "cover the coaches backside selections". Play it safe with a couple of so called experienced players. Are we simply playing to make up the numbers once more.

What's the alternative? Morton? - Kicked a few goals in the ressies but obviously hasn't impressed anyone in the club with the rest of his game. Gordon - hard at it but nothing to suggest he is a senior player. Cunningham? - promising but playing a top side might be a bridge too far. Spanger? Means you have to drop LRT or Reid and they both did well last week. White? - Ditto. Walsh - Ditto. Mitchell? still reaching full fitness. With Rohan, McGlynn, Parker, Goodes all out of contention that leaves (besides those above) Lamb (Inj), Meredith (?) Seaby (Another ruckman!) Lockyer (Injured) Moore (Probably should have been next in line but too slow under the roof against Ess) Brown? (second game back!)

My dad used to say that you can't pull up your socks if you haven't got any on!
