Changes for Rnd 14 V The Giants

Probably one of LRT Mummy Everitt or Pyke for TDL....probably LRT.

I'd like to see Cunningham and Morton get a run too.

LRT for Spangher. I love TDL but I doubt they'd change him for a tall. The double ruck structure works well. Mumford looked spent by the end of the night

Surely this would be the game to give Morton a crack?

Not the best timing to play GWS because clubs normally take the opportunity to "rest" a few players but we just had the bye and Goodes and Mummy need match fitness.

        LRT OUT! had enough.
LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

I've been a supporter of LRT in the past but with Pyke improving and him being the cover we need for Mumford whilst he regains fitness, I think LRT no longer fits our structure.

As the game wore on tonight we desperately needed another runner.

So next week it's ruckmen changing at FF, Goodes as the other deep forward, Reid CHF which pushes LRT out and TDL or Morton in.

Next week should not be taken lightly and I notice GWS have rested Chad Cornes, so he's fresh for a big game next week or are they tanking?

Completely agree. He is a CHB and back up ruck. As a forward he is out of his depth and boy, didn't it show tonight. If there is not spot for him in the back line then he needs to make way for Everitt (of all people!) or someone else.

Hardly played CHB in his life. He was a gun back Pocket. Did a good job stopping Scarlett and Fletcher last week.

TDL or spanger in for LRT. Geelong has a tall quality defence but against GWS keeping LRT in is pointless. He's been poor for sometime now.

O'keefe or Bolton should have a rest. We will need them fresh in September.

If you like to bring on a forward who big and can play the defensive role then walsh is the player to bring in. we need walsh to stand up we can not play two slow forwards. spanger is not a power forward. But can play up the ground its white/walsh/LRT or everitt/spanger/jordan or ben/cunningham/morton the team balances is very important you need a players to come in and fill the role that is why you can't bring in any player to replace another the team structure falls apart. Think TDL cunningham alex brown jordan should get a games in the second half to improve the team for the future.
Micheal / cunningham / alex brown will need to start as subs also in second half to get some games into them for next year. Furture list management is also important for swans furture and we should bring in one of the young players to be given game time against bottom teams.

I'll correct you on a couple of points there, LRT played CHB for a long period of his career, suggest you go back and watch the 2005/2006 GF's as examples

He's been a good honest player, not a gun

Flecther spent most of the bombers game on the resting ruckmen (mainly Mummy) and Scarlett gave him a bath last night

If you have seen walsh play live you will notice that either he has very poor pace or no tank. As much as its dissapointing he is unlikely to improve much in these areas. Spanger is definitely worth a try when fit. He did quite well given his limited game time last year. As we are playing two ruckman currently another leading forward would also suffice such as tdl.

Agree with bloodsman - TDL to replace LRT
The alternative - Spangher if fit for LRT
