Balls it was bloody freezing on Friday. Were you there? I was right through the reserves game to the end of the Seniors. You were probably in Melbourne and it was actually warmer in Melbourne on Friday Night than here.(1)We have lost members to GWS
(2)Re-dev work does not help
(3)It was NOT cold on Friday
(4)Dogs crowd was poor , because , as WT notes , SOME Sydney fans don't like it when those nasty drops of water fall out of the sky.Just one look at the "Vents" page in mX shows that the city has a sizeable MINORITY of pampered, sensitive , shallow little darlings.Comment

Actually it wasn't as cold as it was in Tamworth on Friday night - my friends were playing hockey on the deso surface (which gets watered at half time) and it was minus 4. I normally feel the cold and it wasn't that bad.I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

That sounds about right if 27,000 was close to a sellout. Crowds have dropped by much less than this i believe. It is also more difficult this year to navigate the tiketek site, well was for me, another year older and all that, but when I went to book tickets, they couldn't give me any, and that was Tuesday I believe, unless I wanted platinum, and 70 bucks is not in my budget, what happened to the days when GA was 13 bucks and included public transport. You can't argue with a sick mind - Joe WalshComment

I was talking about opposition teams. The Swans play all the time at SCG do they not. The other thing is getting GA tivkets. As everyone has mentioned they are very sparse. The other problem is getting RED Zone Member Guest Passes, these are more expensive than the GOLD Pass tickets. RED Zone Guest Passes $40 & GOLD on a RED Zone Membership $36. This doesn't make sense to me, they are charging $40 for people sitting in the GA area and they are Member Guests?Comment

I agree the weather has played a large part, this season and last it has seemed like every SCG game its been raining (apart from friday night) but not just raining but heavy rain to the lead up to many games. I sit in reserved seating and at least 25% of the supporters in my section do not Attend if it is raining. If there are 20,000 members it would seem to me many members are not attending each game.
Cheers

You can purchase a Moore Park link ticket for about $8.40 one way which is both train to Cental and bus to SCGTransport out of the ground is a major problem at the SCG as well.
It costs an extra 5 bucks to get a return ticket on the bus and it's a bloody nightmare getting out of the place as well.
Last Friday night, I didn't get back to Central until 11pm and I didn't get back to the southern subs until 12;10am.Comment

No Wolfie - I was in my usual spot , al fresco , at the SCG .Took my coat off and offered it to a lady . All that shouting kept me warm.
Don't forget your hot water bottle on Saturday - the B.o.M. says it will be below 20 degrees celsius.
